I had the tremendous privilege of serving Puget Sound area families for 23 years as resident midwife and co-owner of Puget Sound Midwives & Birth Centers and clinical preceptor and adjunct faculty at Bastyr University Department of Midwifery. I have policy and leadership experience building hard-working relationships to advance the needs of vulnerable communities having served on numerous professional boards and committees shaping data-driven state and national healthcare policy focused on equitable access to care, client safety and professional accountability. I am excited to bring my skills and experience home to Kenmore.
